Here's your chance to customise your copy of Netscape! This little trick will replace the Netscape "meteor" logo on the Toolbar with my own Horrible.Demon logos like this-

Here's all you have to do!

1. Download this little Zip file (6k!) and save it on your machine.
2. UnZip the files using your Zip program. I recommend WinZip.
3. Follow the instructions in the readme.txt file
4. Be amazed at your customised Netscape browser!

How does it work?
All you need is the BitMap files which contains the logo animations. You then need to change your "netscape.cfg" file to point to these BitMaps rather than the internal Netscape ones. Don't worry, I've included the "netscape.cfg" file for you to use!

How can I make my own?
Simply create your own BitMap file. It needs to be 352x32 pixels for the large logo or 242x22 for the small logo, each made up of 11 frames of animation. Then you just replace alien_ns.bmp with your small logo and alien_nl.bmp with your large logo. Feel free to load one of the BitMap files in the Zip and use it as a guide.
